Current Toll

1. neck pain: landed on neck during an unsuccessfull attempt at a flip

2. pulled left quad: played 5-1 during a vball competition (guess who was the "1") :-p

3. sprained right ankle: hurt while playing tennis

4. food poisoning: while eating at a posh Korean restaurant

5. flu: my welcome back present to Vancouver

6. swollen lymph node in the neck: from who knows what?!

And now, I can't log on to work remotely cuz my password expired and I didn't update it! Ack!

What would you give up in the name of networking? Would you rather attending your weekly vball game with a bunch of friends or pay for an event where you'd meet some new people? Where is the fine line that distinguishes a normal human being from a networking machine?

Shopaholic

Had the most awesome shopping trip in a long while. Had SOO much fun @ the outlets with the CS girls :) I'm dead broke now, but it was so worth it! The only thing I forgot to buy: a CD wallet. I bought a CD player so I'd like to have a little CD wallet to help me carry around ~10 CDs with me (cuz I'm SOO going to listen to all 10 CDs no matter where I go).

Man, it's so hot here! Luckily my place is cooler than the outside...but that doesn't mean it's cool :-p Anywho, decided to stay home and do my laundry and misc household/techy chores. Chores are so fun. I can be mindless, yet feel productive. (And no, I won't do your chores).

3 more weeks

I'm in the process of getting my life in order. I love it when I "spring clean" my life. I always find that somehow my priorities were all screwed up and it's a great feeling to shed those useless activities that waste my time. I always realize (once again) that I need more time for friends and family. All you guys that have meant so much to me and have been so supportive despite my mental state. One thing is always constant when I spring clean my life: I learn that I need to spend more "self-time". Time where I get to sit at home and do my own things (or nothing!). Somehow my life always fills up with so many activities that take away from time where I can just stay at home alone and recharge...and that's my most precious time. I dunno, I'm just happy giddy now. I look forward to a lot more "pruning" of my schedule, so please don't get mad if I cancel on smthing that I have planned with you.
